Google Pixel 6/6 Pro: The Final Verdict

 
The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are a pair of Android smartphones designed and marketed by Google as part of the Google Pixel product succeeding the pixel 5 series and previous generations. They were officially released at the "Pixel Fall Launch" event and will be released in the United States on October 28. The Pixel 6 Series arrived witg Google's very own Custom Tensor System on Chip(Soc). Before this, previous devices were associated with Qualcomm chips. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro feature a unique design which is distinct visually from previous generations including a camera and two tone colour scheme on the back. The front of the phones contain thin bezels as well as a hole punch display notch. As with previous Pixel generations, Google focused on artificial intelligence and ambient computing features which we will see later. The phones gad generally received positive reviews from critics excluding the phone charger and protrusion of the camera bar.  This is just a sneak peek. So let's get right into it.

Pixel 6

 The Pixel 6 is the lower flagship smartphone from Google for the year 2021. The Pixel 6 is available in three colours: Kinda Coral, Sorta Seafoam and Stormy Black. The Pixel 6 has a 6.4 inch FHD+ 1080p OLED display at 411 ppi with a 1080 by 2400 pixel resolution and a 20 by 9 aspect ratio. It contains a 50MP wide rear camera and a 12MP ultrawide rear camera. The front camera on the Pixel 6 contains a 8MP wide lens. It supports 30W fast charging and wireless charging. The Pixel 6 has a 4614 maH powered battery. The Pixel 6 is available in 128 or 256GB of storage with 8GB of RAM. It has an underdisplay fingerprint scanner, stereo speaker and a Gorilla Glass Victus. The starting price for the Pixel 6 is $599.

Pixel 6 Pro
The Pixel 6 Pro is Google's biggest and first ever flagship smartphone. The Pixel 6 Pro is available in three colours: Stormy Black, Sorta Sunny and Cloudy White. It consists of a 6.7inch(170mm)QHD+PLPTO OLED display at 512ppi with a 1440 by 3120 pixel resolution and a 19 by 5 by 9 aspect ratio. The Pixel 6 Pro features a 50mp wide rear camera with an additional 48mp telephoto rear camera. The front camera on the 6 Pro contains an 11.1mp ultra wide lens. It supports 30W fast charging as well as reverse wireless charging. It also has an e SIM. The Pro phone boasts of a 5003 maH powered battery. The Pixel 6 Pro is available in 128,256 or 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. It is also equipped with the Titan M12 security module along with other features alongside the lower flagship. It starts off at $899.

Google Tensor Chip
The launching of this chip was as a result of the collaboration of a team of researchers from Google. This processing chip with the integration of machine learning is unlocking amazing features such as Motion Mode, Face Unblur, Speech Enhancement Mode for videos and applying HDRnet to videos. Here is an example of Motion Mode. 
The Google Tensor Chip is made to adapt to users and accommodate phone usage at a whole new level. Also, Google Assistant runs more efficiently on the chip with the most accurate voice recognition system ever released by Google. Face detection is also more accurate as expected. The Titan M2 security chip can withstand attacks such as e.m analysis, voltage glitching and even laser fault injection. Google Tensor Chip is built to deliver real world experiences to users. It is indeed a milestone for machine learning.
